Rough : Asmodeus Lust 2014

This is something I have made as a Christmas present for my sisters as they like my work with pretty colours and nice poses

I will post a version without the snake later on, let me know if you guys think it’s a good idea and what you all think of this image as well, what you like and dislike about it, I really worked hard on the snake and the body however they are different in styles it’s been very hard to make the snake but I wish I could have worked on it more I don’t know if it’s even a good image or if it works

I have covered up her body with a snake because I wanted to keep her body to not show nudity and made her beautiful, hopefully i bypassed the rules by having her covered up

I put her in an elegant pose, I know lust is a seductive sin so rather than her body being the desire I have made her eyes the source of her influences so she can control the will of other beings like when you look in to medusas eyes you will turn to stone, this is the same if you look in the eyes of lust you will lose your will and become crazy for her and you will do anything she wants

The red pearl is the inner desire of others that she takes and is how she can control all her minions, all beings have a blue light that is taken into the pearl and turned red inside the pearl and the beings would become hers to control and the snake is her protector a pet that was the first being she controlled and is a loyal and powerful guardian

Show: 7 deadly sing (TV series documentary)
presented by: Morgan Spurlock

This is something I made when I saw a show about the 7 sins, the demon I think is meant to be male but I made the demon female because in full metal lust is a female, I really like the idea of Asmodeus as a female as I can see a female to be much more seductive then a male

I was doing this on and off while doing other projects but also I am very slow at drawing compared to other people on here , I want to improve on my speed and skill I know I am slow want to learn as much as I can , my work is at a very low quality compared to peoples work who are the most popular , but I have seen a big difference in my work once I have joined this site and wavingmontorstudio also taught me some techniques on how to draw this year using a Wacom with something tips in Photoshop , I look at peoples work in here to learn new things and challenge myself to make my work better

I used a Wacom intros 3 and Photoshop I use sai paint tool on the snakes line art

Started this in July 2014

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caduceus…

The caduceus is the traditional symbol of Hermes and features two snakes winding around an often winged staff. It is often mistakenly used as a symbol of medicine instead of the Rod of Asclepius, especially in the United States. The two-snake caduceus design has ancient and consistent associations with trade, eloquence, trickery, and negotiation. Tangential association of the caduceus with medicine has occurred through the ages, where it was sometimes associated with alchemy and wisdom.

In Greek mythology, the Rod of Asclepius (⚕), also known as the Staff of Asclepius (sometimes also spelled Asklepios or Aesculapius) and as the asklepian, is a serpent-entwined rod wielded by the Greek god Asclepius, a deity associated with healing and medicine. The symbol has continued to be used in modern times, where it is associated with medicine and health care, yet frequently confused with the staff of the god Hermes, the caduceus. Theories have been proposed about the Greek origin of the symbol and its implications

Asmodeus-demonology

Asmodeus is a king of demons mostly known from the deuterocanonical Book of Tobit (that is to say portions of the Bible not included in the Hebrew version), in which he is the primary antagonist.

The demon is also mentioned in some Talmudic legends, for instance, in the story of the construction of the Temple of Solomon. He was supposed by some Renaissance Christians to be the King of the Nine Hells. Asmodeus also is referred to as one of the seven princes of Hell. In Binsfeld's classification of demons, each one of these princes represents one of the seven deadly sins (Pride, Lust, Envy, Sloth, Greed, Gluttony, and Wrath). Asmodeus is the demon of lust and is therefore responsible for twisting people's sexual desires. It is said that people who fall to Asmodeus' ways will be sentenced to an eternity in the second level of hell.

According to the Kabbalah and the school of Rashba, Agrat Bat Mahlat, a succubus, mated with King David and bore a cambion son Asmodeus, king of demons.

Asmodeus was widely depicted as having a handsome visage, good manners and an engaging nature, however he was portrayed as walking with a limp and one leg was either clawed or that of a cock. He walks aided by two walking sticks in Lesage's work, and this gave rise to the English title The Devil on Two Sticks (also later translated The Limping Devil and The Lame Devil). Lesage attributes his lameness to falling from the sky after fighting
